Put an End to Tendonitis Pain!

First developed at the Mayo Clinic for the treatment of plantar fasciitis of the foot as well as tendinitis of the elbow, ankle, shoulder and hip. Utilizing ultrasound imaging, the specific area of the damaged tendon is first identified. The area is then numbed with local anesthetic and the ultrasonic tool is safely inserted to breakdown and remove the damaged tissue. As the required incision is minimally-invasive,  the ultrasonic energy precisely treats only the damaged tendon tissue. The surrounding healthy tissue is left unharmed, allowing patient recovery in the 4-6 week range. Stitches are not required, so only a small dressing is applied. You are able to go home immediately after the procedure is completed.
